Free Meditation Classes

Brenda offers FREE monthly Yoga Nidra meditation classes on Zoom as community service. Yoga Nidra is known as sleep yoga, and has many benefits. It is easy and requires no experience. It is a guided practice in sequential order designed to relax the body, the brain, and promote deep relaxation of the nervous system. It can release fear, stress, anxiety, judgements, and trapped emotions. It is believed that a 30-minute yoga nidra practice is equivalent to 2-4 hours of sleep. Following a session, you feel relaxed and rested and your sleep may improve. There are no actual poses and it can be done lying down or sitting in a chair.

Yoga Nidra is also known as third eye yoga and it is a very powerful development tool for those who want to strengthen their intuition. It takes you to that liminal space, which is that in between state between being awake and asleep. The same space as deep hypnosis, that dreamy state when you first wake up or when you are falling asleep yet you are still dreaming. It is a magical and transformative practice.
